Gossip Girl hunk Penn Badgley grows a pair for the latest issue of GQ (the one with necktie naked Jennifer Aniston on the cover).We learn that the 22-year-old actor was named after the Penn tennis balls his dad nervously squeezed during his mom’s first sonogram.
Penn also admits that playing Dan Humphrey is way too easy. He says, “I can do this role with my eyes closed and my arms behind my back. What I’m looking for now is something challenging… I always joke with the show’s creators, ‘Anytime you want me to do drugs or contemplate suicide, I’ll do it.’ ”
