After the heart breaking episode of the Bachelorette, Ashley Hebert gained a good wisher in Emily Maynard.

Maynard said that she was surprised by the obnoxious behavior of Bentley Williams on The Bachelorette this week.

But she said that she doesn’t believe he’s be any better even if she were on the show in place of Ashley Hebert.

In a new video, the winner of The Bachelorette of the past season, Emily Maynard said, "He clearly had an agenda for being on the show, and it wasn't to fall in love."

Bentley Williams not only cruelly broke Ashley Hebert’s heart on Monday’s episode, he actually humiliated Ashley Hebert and called her ugly.

Along with other things, he also claimed that he wished Maynard had been the Bachelorette this season.

Emily Maynard on the other hand said, "It's hard for me to believe that someone could be that hurtful and just mean spirited."

However, Maynard said that she believed what goes around comes around. She said, "I were Bentley, I would certainly be sleeping with one eye open."

Maynard also said that hopefully, we’ve heard and seen the last of Bentley.

Emily Maynard added, "I'm really hoping we can stop focusing on all the negative, and focus on all the great guys that she does have there."

On Monday night, about eight million viewers were enjoying The Bachelorette while they were expecting to succeed in finding her Mr. Right.

However, there was something different in store for the viewers. Ashley Hebert went through a series of heartbreaks and she also faced many moments full of humiliation.

Some of her potential suitors made embarrassing comments about her in public. On the other hand, the man who was seeming favourite of Ashley Hebert, made fool of her gleefully in front of others.

Ashley is 26 years old. Recently in an interview she said, "I'm extremely humiliated, he had intentions to really hurt me – and he did."

Bentley Williams is the person we are talking about.

He is the bachelor of Salt Lake City-area US. He captured Ashley’s eyes and heart right at the beginning of the show.

He always sweet-talked Madawaska, Maine, native to her face. However, at the end he revealed openly to the cameras that he is going to withdraw from the show and he simply said, "I don't care about Ashley at all."

This was not enough of the vile Bentley saved for Ashley for so long.

He said that he wished the "breathtakingly beautiful" Emily Maynard had been the Bachelorette, because, he said, Ashley was "an ugly duckling."

Emily Maynard is Ashley's former fellow contestant on The Bachelor.

Ashley faced all that humiliation with braveness in the same manner as she lived through the other experiences of the show.

However, she broke down in tears after some of the men insulted her at a Los Angeles comedy club.

She got those remarks from Bentley as a surprise because she had no idea about Bentley's remarks until the show started airing in May.

Ashley said, "I got played, just as maybe every woman in America has been played."
