Jennifer Hudson gave Gap Inc. the okay to use a cheery image of her in their new holiday ad campaign, despite the terrible tragedy that recently shook her family.A GAP representative spoke with E! and assured them that, though Jennifer continues to mourn, “She said she wanted to be a part of [the campaign] and that we should move forward.”
Photographer Michael Thompson took the talented 27-year-old singer/actress’s likeness for the ad, which includes the tagline “Shine Your Own Star,” in New York City this past July.
Other stars appearing in the campaign include Mary-Louise Parker, Mila Kunis, Milla Jovovich, Ashanti, Jason Bateman with his 21-month-old daughter Francesca, Jon Heder, Rainn Wilson, and Cam Gigandet, among others.
